I designed and crafted this outfit including the faux fur leg and arm warmers for Pride Fest one year. My inspiration came from Pride Fest. Pride Fest is very important to me, and even more important to show up as my authentic self. I went to my first pride fest after watching Sense8. One of the characters explained that she attends pride fest for all those who are too scared or were not allowed to attend, to show them that it is more than just OK to be yourself. That has become my life mission; to show up as my true self so much that it inspires others to be comfortable showing their true self. This outfit is one of my favorites to wear out to this day. Sewn on machine and by hand.
