I was inspired to create this piece by my passion for LED art installations, love of music festivals, and love for my partner. I used this as a learning tool for building LED grids, programming microcontrollers, and building light shows. I learned how to connect WLED to Resolume and xLights to control the panel. I experimented with Resolume by building shows, MIDI mapping effects, and streaming video to the panel. I also taught myself how to prepare images to vector files for laser cutting while maintaining structural integrity in the finished piece. I selected the femboy fox maid artwork because my partner identifies as a femboy fox and I gifted this piece to him.
